Now here’s a blanket that any little farmer would love to have. Not quite John Deere green, it still evokes the farming spirit with its four rows of tractors driving back and forth across the back 40.
The blanket is knit on size 9 circular needles, with two strands of DK weight yarn (1600 yards). The gauge is 4.5 stitches and 6 rows per inch. The finished blanket size is 28” x 35”.
For a smaller blanket, use one strand of worsted weight yarn (900 yds.) and size 8 needles. The gauge is 5 stitches and 7 rows per inch. The finished size is approximately 25" by 31".
