My newest blanket, Serenity, is a simple 4 repeat diamond design with a stockinette background.
It is knit in a new yarn for me: Premier Anti Pilling worsed yarn. It is slightly heavier than the Berroco Comfort yarn that I normally use. It knits up beautifully.
I’ve also included a new border stitch that mimics and I-cord. You knit the first 2 stitches on every row, and slip the last 2 stitches of every row with the yarn in front. When you work the next row, the knit stitches wrap the yarn for the corded edge. Try it! You”ll like it!
